"I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances."

Happy New Year!!
January 1st, 2015.
Day 1 of a new year, a fresh start. What will this year hold for me?
I decided not to make resolutions this year. I've always made them but never stuck with them and always ended up feeling like a failure by February. I'm sure I'm not alone on that.
I decided to chose a few words and phrases for the year. Some things to live by and inspire me for 2015.
Here they are in no particular order:
1. Love myself - something I have to work on every day. I have struggled with this since junior highschool, so much as it almost cost me my life. I need to take time for myself and be comfortable in my skin. This is something I must work on for me but more importantly for my two young daughters. I must lead by example and be a good role model.
2. Pay it forward - I am very blessed and love to give back. I want to show my daughters how it feels even better to give then to receive.
3. Follow my passions - Follow through and try the things I haven't done yet but have always wanted to!
4. Enjoy - Stop to 'smell the roses' more and enjoy the little things. Life is short, enjoy the ride.
Are you making resolutions this year? If yes, what are they?
